The Reverend Richard Douglas Hobbs, age 75, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center following a brief illness. “Pastor Hobbs,” as he was known to many, founded Community Bible Church in Knox County, and has continued to lead it for the last 29 years.
